Helpful U-Pick Information
A Few Details...
Kids are always welcome however pushing a stroller through the uneven and sometimes muddy walkways will be a sweaty and frustrating adventure.
If children are cutting a bouquet, a ticket is required.
Our farm will only be open to those with pre-purchased passes. Bring Proof of Purchase! This is how we ensure there will be abundant blooms for everyone.
A mason jar or sleeve will be provided along with a pair of shears.
No flower cutting experience is necessary.
Tips and Trick for efficient cutting will be provided to attendees.
Please wear farm appropriate attire. (think free-range chickens, mud, bugs... But mostly the free-range chickens)
Consider bringing a water bottle and wearing sunscreen.
Amongst the flowers are bees (lots of them from our hives), mosquitos, spiders and other friends - so brace yourself.
We don’t recommend trying to catch a chicken. You most likely can’t and you will embarrass yourself trying!
To avoid my fur baby getting jealous, please leave your pets at home.
The door to our chicken coop will be closed. We want to ensure our girls have a safe spot to retreat to if they need to get out of the spotlight. Please do not attempt to get inside the coop.
This is our personal property where our family lives and we have worked incredibly hard so we can share it with you. Please be respectful.

Please check your email before coming to the farm. In that email I will provide helpful information about U-Pick timing, parking, amenities available to you at the farm and so forth.
Private U-Pick Details
If you would like to bring a group and have the farm to yourself, please get in touch to schedule a private u-pick.
We can host your bridal shower, a corporate event, birthday celebration or even a girl's night out.
5 Person Min | 30 Person Max
Per Person $30 (5-10) | $25 (11-25) | $20 (26-60)
2 hours included | Each additional hour - $100
You are welcome to bring outside food and beverage to private u-picks. We can even help arrange a food truck for your group.
A deposit of $150 is required to hold your date and time.

Helpful Bucket of Blooms Information
DIY Event Flowers: Corporate Events, Churches, Supper Clubs, Bridal Showers, Etc.
Rich and Sons Nursery is happy to offer Bucket of Blooms. Exactly what you'll need to make your own arrangements. Absolutely perfect for DIY weddings and special events!
Bucket of Blooms – We Pick Expect a 5-gallon bucket of seasonal blooms for $65. If you are looking for specific blooms and/or colors, the price is $80. We require a 2 bucket minimum. A $30 deposit is required.
Bucket of Blooms – You Pick If you want to come to the farm and cut your own flowers, 5 gallon buckets are $50. We require a 2 bucket minimum. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your dates. A $50 deposit is required.
To The Customer: Dahlias and Peonies are sold separately by the stem and are not included in buckets unless specified at time of order and price is agreed upon.
We will try our best to accommodate specific color schemes and varieties, but we harvest the freshest blooms available in the field at the time of your event.
While blooms can last up to a week if properly cared for, we recommend picking up your buckets no more than 3 days before your event.
Buckets are only available from July through September. The exact date varies each year. Check the website or Instagram for more details.
One bucket will fill 5-7 quart-sized mason jars.
There is a $10 per bucket deposit (for the bucket itself) and it’s fully refundable upon return of clean buckets.
Delivery is not included. Delivery is offered for an additional charge.
Final payment is due at pick up, or day before delivery.
The more flexible you are the more enjoyable your experience will be.
We are also a working farm with ole' boss man, 10 full-time nursery employees, a rambunctious (but totally harmless) cattle dog, and 2 crazy kids. Please make an appointment prior to your visit so someone is available, and the dogs and kids can be handled prior to your arrival!
Because our flowers are at the mercy of Mother Nature, we cannot guarantee or reserve flowers or dates. We do promise to keep in close communication about any and all flower orders as they come close to requested delivery dates.
We do recommend that you visit the farm a week in advance to see what is available and those flowers coming into bloom. Also consider making a sample bouquet.
